Do I need a prescription to schedule an appointment?
Yes & No.
Yes. If you wish a screening exam to detect a medical problem requested by your doctor, the doctor’s note is required.
No. If you spontaneously want to identify a problem or to check your overall health, no doctor’s note is required.

How does Allive work?
We make the ultrasound screening easy and simply for you.
This is an elective ultrasound used to help identify a problem or to check your overall health. No doctor's note is required allowing you to be proactive and take control over your health.
Screening exams are not covered by Medicare or other health insurance providers. Payment is due at the time of your exam.
If, however, a screening exam detects a medical problem, your health insurance provider will cover subsequent treatment (to the extent allowed by your plan) and possibly reimburse you for the cost or a portion of the cost of the screening.

Where does the results go?
If you prefer, your referring doctor will receive a copy of the report. In general, you’ll get a copy of the images and report as well when they are ready.
